On 3rd June 2010 Grand Hotel Sofia officially celebrated its 6th Anniversary with a Green Garden Party.
More than 600 guests filled up the hotel garden in eco-friendly atmosphere. Besides the bio products in the menu for the party, healthy food and bio drinks, the green ideas were entwined in the decoration and the party gifts.
Mimes dressed in forest costumes carried the guests away in an authentic nature environment, accompanied by specific sounds – beautiful bird songs, murmuring streams, rustle of leaves.
The start of a green initiative of the Grand Hotel Sofia was introduced at the party – corporate policy for usage of recycled paper, reducing the use of plastic, preference for ecological products, use of natural cleaning products and techniques in the hotel. The purpose of the hotel team is to start a consecution of eco-friendly activities in the coming years.
Special decorated birthday cake with handmade cold porcelain tree was cut by the General Manager– Mrs. Julieta Serafimova, and the Grand Hotel Sofia team.
Fire show with special fireworks accompanied by a special music was the culmination of the party.
The music program started in Latino rhythm with Tumbaito music band and continued with the special participation of Miro - the most popular Bulgarian pop singer who presented Bulgaria on the Eurovision contest a few days before the Grand Hotel Sofia party.
