.jpg) On 10th April 2010 the first Grand Wedding Show took place at Grand Hotel Sofia. New conceptions for wedding decoration and menus at Grand Hotel Sofia were presented by the culinary team. More than 225 wedding couples in love have celebrated their wedding day at Grand Hotel Sofia.
Accent of the event were the wedding cakes, decorated with hand-made sugar decorations, cold porcelain and individual decoration projects, as well as the wedding cakes flavors of the day – presented by carving chef Yuri Dimo and the pastry team of Grand Hotel Sofia.
The Grand Hotel Sofia presented the restaurants and the halls of the hotel with their facilities for organizing wedding celebrations, as well as the hotel garden for an open-air wedding in the summer season in the very city center. The wedding ceremony can also be organized at the hotel.
Seven wedding decorations with different flower arrangements, ribbons, etc., prepared by the hotel florist and seven festive menus were presented at the wedding show. Simple decorations with flowers in their natural state arranged in vases with elegant decorative elements - petals, pearls, candles, are the latest wedding decoration trends.
Grand Hotel Sofia offer wedding menus for connoisseurs as well as individual menus prepared by the Chef exclusively for your wedding. Some of the dishes were presented at the wedding show degustation: Homemade boiled beef ham served with honey-mustard sauce; Deep fried soft Bonifaz cheese with almond flakes and raspberry sauce; Seafood cocktail in crisp volovant gratinated with yellow cheese; Grilled pork tenderloin, wrapped in Jamon served with French beans and sautéed potatoes tossed in dill; chicken breast with Foie- gras and Truffle sauce served with glazed carrots and potato roesti with herbs and butter, etc.
Food tasting for two, flower arrangement of the ballroom, organizing additional services - children’s corner with animation program, professional DJ, camera services Limousine service, etc. are included in the wedding suggestions of the Grand Hotel Sofia.
Complimentary accommodation of bride and groom in a suite for the wedding night and special compliment for the couple in the room – a wedding cake and a bottle of French sparkling wine.
Companies offering various wedding services and products participated at the event Grand Wedding Show, organized by Fairytale Day wedding agency and Grand Hotel Sofia. The future wedding couples had been given the opportunity to choose between variety of options for their wedding, to be inspired by brand new ideas, to receive special terms for the services and products presented during the show.
